
Rox Record Second Shutout against MoonDogs, Improve to 13-3

Mankato, MN - St. Cloud (13-3) finished its road trip with an 11-0 blowout against Mankato (10-9) to extend its lead atop the Great Plains West.
Brayden Gainey (Alabama) got the start for the first time this season and twirled a gem in five innings on the mound. Gainey struck out three batters and only allowed three this in his scoreless outing.
The first arm out of the bullpen was Joseph Brandon (Georgia State) who wasted no time sending the MoonDogs back to the dugout. Brandon struck out all three batters he faced in his lone perfect inning on the bump.
In the final third of the game, Nick Hyde (Western Carolina) threw shutout innings in the seventh and the eighth. Then, Danny Glenos (Montevallo) struck out the side to strand runners on base and finish off the shutout in the ninth.
At the plate, Charlie Condon (Georgia) started the scoring with an RBI single in the first. Condon finished the day with two hits and three RBI's to pace the Rox, who scored ten runs in the final four innings.
John Nett (St. Cloud State) also drove in three runs at the plate, while O'Neill Burgos (Southern) had a couple of hits and led off back-to-back innings where the Rox scored three runs.

The Rox return home on Saturday to complete the series against the MoonDogs. First pitch from Joe Faber Field is scheduled for 6:05 pm.
