The Round Rock Express (41-36) clinched a series win with an 8-6 victory over the Las Vegas Aviators (42-34) on Saturday night at Las Vegas Ballpark. Express RF Bubba Thompson led the way on offense, hitting 3-for-4 with one home run, one RBI and three runs scored. LF Josh Sale and 1B Elier Hernandez also hit home runs. In his first start for Round Rock, LHP Taylor Hearn allowed four runs on five hits and three walks while striking out seven. RHP Yerry Rodriguez earned the win with a hitless 1.1 innings out of the bullpen. Attached are the game's box score and play-by-play. Round Rock and Las Vegas play for the series finale on Sunday night with first pitch scheduled for 8:05 p.m. CT.
