Today's Game: The Oklahoma City Dodgers and El Paso Chihuahuas wrap up their six-game series tonight. The teams will resume a suspended game from Saturday night at 5:35 p.m. CT and play through nine innings before beginning their regularly scheduled game approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of the suspended game, but no sooner than 7:35 p.m. CT. The regularly scheduled game will be a seven-inning game...The series is tied, 2-2, between the top two teams in the Pacific Coast League East Division. The Dodgers have a five-game lead ahead of the second-place Chihuahuas.

Last Game: Saturday night's game between the Oklahoma City Dodgers and El Paso Chihuahuas was suspended due to rain at Southwest University Park. The game is currently tied at 4-4 heading to the bottom of the fifth inning. After a delay of 1 hour, 28 minutes, the game was officially suspended...On Friday night, Jason Martin went 4-for-4 with two home runs and a double in OKC's 11-8 loss against the Chihuahuas at Southwest University Park. Martin hit game-tying run home runs in both the fifth and sixth innings, but the Chihuahuas regained the lead following each homer. Martin hit a two-run homer with two outs in the sixth inning to even the score at 7-7. The game was still tied in the bottom of the seventh inning when Luis Liberato hit a go-ahead two-run homer for the Chihuahuas, and C.J. Hinojosa also homered on the very next pitch. The Chihuahuas took an 11-7 lead into the ninth inning, and the Dodgers rallied with three hits in the inning to score one run and bring the tying run to the plate before falling.

Today's Probable Pitcher: Robbie Erlin (3-1) is scheduled to make his ninth start and 12th overall appearance in tonight's regularly scheduled game...He most recently pitched June 23 against Round Rock. After holding opponents to three runs or less in six straight outings and to two runs or less five times during the stretch, Erlin allowed four runs on four hits with two walks and four strikeouts over 4.0 innings and did not factor into the decision of OKC's 6-5 win...Erlin threw five scoreless and hitless innings June 10 against Salt Lake, retiring 15 of the 18 batters he faced and tallied five strikeouts in the no decision. It was his longest hitless outing since June 27, 2010 with Single-A Hickory...The lefty has also made two appearances for the Los Angeles Dodgers. He had his contract selected May 7 and pitched on back-to-back days May 8-9. He was designated for assignment May 11 and outrighted to OKC May 13...Erlin has appeared in 117 games (43 starts) in the Majors, primarily with San Diego, and was selected by Texas in the third round of the 2009 MLB Draft from Scotts Valley High School (Calif.)...Tonight is his fourth appearance of the season against the Chihuahuas. In his first three outings combined, including two starts, Erlin is 1-0 and allowed 10 runs and 17 hits over 13.0 innings with six walks and nine strikeouts.

Against the Chihuahuas: 2022: 7-6 2021: 14-9 All-time: 35-25 At ELP: 20-14 The Dodgers and Chihuahuas meet for their third series of 2022 and second at Southwest University Park...The Dodgers have won seven of the last 10 games against the Chihuahuas entering tonight, including five of seven at Southwest University Park...The teams played a three-game series in OKC May 17-19 with OKC winning, 2-1, after the teams split a six-game series in El Paso April 12-17 with OKC winning the final three games of the series...Jason Martin and Miguel Vargas each have a team-best 13 RBI against the Chihuahuas this season, while Vargas has a team-leading 15 hits. Martin has hit seven homers in 12 games...The Dodgers won the 2021 series between the teams, 14-9, including 8-4 in El Paso. OKC hit 37 homers while holding El Paso to 21 home runs over the 23-game season series. Outside of 2018, OKC has won or split each season series against the Chihuahuas since Tucson's franchise relocated to El Paso for the 2014 season...Following tonight's games, the teams still have 12 more games scheduled against each other this season: Aug. 23-28 in OKC and Sept. 20-25 in El Paso (the second-to-last series of the regular season).

Life At the Top: Despite a loss Friday night, Oklahoma City paces the PCL and all of Triple-A with a 47-29 record. With a win tonight, they can match their season-high mark of 19 games above .500 and match their largest lead in first place in the East Division at 6.0 games...The Dodgers have won 10 of their last 15 games, 12 of their last 18 games and 16 of their last 23 games. They are 12-6 in their last 18 road games...The Dodgers have not lost consecutive games since a three-game losing streak May 26-27, as the Dodgers have followed up each of their previous nine losses with a win in the next game...OKC's 47 wins pace all of Triple-A and are tied for third-most in the Minors...The Dodgers have won five straight series and are now 10-1-3 through their first 15 series of the season.

Clearance at JMart: Jason Martin reached base five times Friday, going 4-for-4 with two home runs, a double and a walk. He scored three times and notched three RBI during his second multi-homer game of the season, with his other also in El Paso April 16. Martin became the first Dodger this season with three extra-base hits in one game and the fifth player with a four-hit game. The four hits were a season high and his most since July 17, 2017 with Double-A Corpus Christi, which is also the only other game of his career he's tallied three extra-base hits...Martin has four homers in his last four games and five homers in his last six games. His 15 home runs this season are tied for the team lead...Sixteen of Martin's last 25 hits (since June 5) have gone for extra bases and his 35 total extra-base hits this season pace the Dodgers and are third-most among PCL players. Since June 5, his .803 SLG and 1.219 OPS lead the PCL while his nine homers are tied for the league lead. Over the 20-game stretch, he is batting .329 (25x76) with 23 RBI...Overall this season, Martin ranks tied for the league lead with five triples, while his 35 extra-base hits and .976 OPS are third, his 52 runs are tied for third, his .593 SLG and 54 RBI are fourth, his 137 total bases are fifth and his 15 homers are tied for fifth...In 12 games against El Paso, Martin is batting .317 (13x41) with seven homers and 13 RBI.

Offensive Outburst: The Dodgers picked up 14 hits Friday, marking their second straight game with at least 13 hits. The team is now 27-for-78 (.346) over the last two games with nine doubles and two home runs after batting just .195 over the previous seven games. OKC is 10-for-26 (.385) with runners in scoring position after going 6-for-39 (.154) with RISP during the same seven-game stretch...Friday marked the third time this season the Dodgers have lost a game when scoring at least eight runs, and the second time it's happened at Southwest University Park, joining a 13-11 loss on April 12. Entering Friday, the Dodgers had won 16 of their last 17 games when scoring least six runs and 18 of their last 19 games when scoring at least four runs. It's the team's highest run total in a loss since a 14-13 defeat at Round Rock May 15...The Dodgers are tied for the most triples in all of Triple-A with 27, while their 370 walks and .367 OBP are second. Their 483 runs, .457 SLG and .824 OPS are third...Along with Single-A Fresno, OKC is only one of two teams across the Minors 50-plus RBI this season - Miguel Vargas (56), Jason Martin (54) and Jake Lamb (50).

Gettin' Miggy With It: For a second straight game Friday, Miguel Vargas collected two doubles, picking up a RBI on each one. He extended his hitting streak to a season-best 13 games, and during the hitting streak, Vargas is 20-for-51 (.392) with two home runs, seven doubles, 12 RBI, eight walks and 12 runs scored. His hitting streak is the second longest by an OKC player this season and one game shy of matching Jake Lamb's 14-game hitting streak June 5-23. Vargas' streak is also the second-longest current hitting streak in the PCL...Vargas paces the PCL with 86 hits and 65 runs scored, while his 148 total bases rank second, his 18 doubles are tied for second, his RBI total is third, his 34 extra-base hits are fourth and his 42 walks are tied for fifth.

Drew Point: Drew Avans went 1-for-4 with a walk, RBI and run scored Friday night. He's now reached base in a season-best 17 straight games as well as 31 of his last 32 games. He has hit safely in 14 of his last 17 games, batting .323 (21x65) during that time...His 17-game on-base streak is the longest active streak by an OKC player and is tied for the third-longest streak overall on the team this season. It is tied for the second-longest active on-base streak in the league.

Busch League: Michael Busch picked up a hit and RBI Friday as he has hit safely in 18 of his last 21 games. Since June 7, he is 24-for-86 (.279) with 12 extra-base hits, 18 RBI, seven walks and 18 runs scored, raising his batting average with OKC by 44 points. Over his last 17 games, Busch is 21-for-72 (.292) with 11 extra-base hits and has tallied at least one extra-base hit in 10 of his last 16 games...He has four homers in his last 10 games and six homers in his last 15 games. At 19 home runs overall between OKC and Double-A Tulsa, Busch leads all Dodgers minor leaguers.

Ups and Downs on the Mound: For the second time in three games Friday, the Dodgers allowed 11 or more runs. During the team's last 12 games, the pitching staff has allowed three or fewer runs seven times, but allowed eight or more runs four times. And in 17 of the team's last 18 games, the pitching staff has allowed either three or fewer runs (9x) or seven-plus runs (8x). Over the last seven games, the opponent run total has ended up 3, 8, 1, 3, 14, 2 and 11...During the current series, in the two wins they've allowed five runs, but in the two losses it's been 25 runs. OKC is now 5-5 in El Paso this season, and in the five wins, they've given up 11 runs total, but in the five losses, they've allowed 49 runs total...For the season, the Dodgers own the best ERA in the PCL (4.58) and have allowed a league-low 615 hits and 381 runs.

Around the Horn: Each of the last two times OKC has had a game suspended, it's been in El Paso. Last July 11, the teams were tied, 7-7, after six innings before rain forced a suspension. When play resumed the next day, the Chihuahuas won that game, 8-7, before OKC won the regularly scheduled game, 2-0...The Dodgers lead all Triple-A teams walks allowed (366) and are second in walks drawn (370). Friday was the team's seventh game this season allowing 10 or more walks...Tomás Telis and Jake Amaya each tallied their second consecutive multi-hit games Friday. Telis went 2-for-5, and Amaya went 2-for-3 with a RBI and two walks. Amaya is up to 15 RBI in his first 16 games since joining OKC...The Dodgers have hit a home run in 16 of the last 18 games (25 HR) and in 22 of the last 25 games (35 HR). On the other hand, the Dodgers have allowed six home runs over the last four games. On Friday, they allowed back-to-back homers for the third time this season...Opponents have now in either the first or second inning in each of the last eight games. Over the eight-game stretch, the Dodgers have allowed 22 total runs over the first two innings (16 innings).
