Round Rock Dance Halls Two-Step into Dell Diamond

ROUND ROCK, Texas - Grab your boots and get on down to Dell Diamond this week for the second annual Battle for the Boot Championship series! The Round Rock Express and Nashville Sounds (Oakland Athletics affiliate), are transforming into the Dance Halls and Honky Tonks from Wednesday, May 30 to Saturday, June 2 for the rivalry series. The Express and Sounds will return to form for the series finale on Sunday, June 3.
The Dance Halls won last year's inaugural Battle for the Boot Championship and look to defend their turf against the arch-rival Honky Tonks this week. The team will be celebrating the Lone Star State and our rightful ownership as home to the best country music around during the five-game series.
Wednesday night's series opener is a Winning Wednesday, presented by Texas Lottery, as fans have the chance to win great prizes all game long. The Express are also joining forces with the Central Texas Food Bank to Strike Out Hunger. Fans can bring two H-E-B branded canned goods in exchange for one lawn ticket.
Back by popular demand, the Express are hosting a second Pints & Pups event on Thursday, May 31, presented by Action Pack Dog Center. Fans are encouraged to bring their four-legged friends to the ballpark for a paw-fect night with Spike. Using code PUPS when purchasing tickets online, fans can unlock special Pints & Pups pricing that features $6 General Admission ticket for humans and dogs (dogs do need a ticket)!
Thanks to Firetrol Protection Services, Thursday night is the return of The Original Thirsty Thursday, with discounted draft beer specials and $1 sodas throughout the game. The Round Rock sky will fill with color after the game on Friday, June 1 for the latest installment of Bud Light Friday Fireworks, set to iconic Texas country music, of course!
The Dance Halls close out their Lone Star State celebration by paying tribute to a Texas legend on Saturday as the first 2,500 fans through the gates will receive a Nolan Ryan Bobblehead Giveaway, courtesy of Whataburger. The giveaway marks the latest edition of Saturday at the Ballpark, presented by A+ Federal Credit Union.
Sunday's series finale features H-E-B Kids Day, with events outside the stadium and postgame run the bases for all kids 12 and under.
