Rouleau Assigned Back To RoadRunners

PHOENIX, Ariz. - The Phoenix RoadRunners of the ECHL, an affiliate of the Phoenix Coyotes and the San Antonio Rampage, have announced that defenseman Alexandre Rouleau has been assigned by San Antonio of the American Hockey League.

Rouleau, 23, returns to the RoadRunners following his third stint with the Rampage this season. The Mont-Laurier, Quebec native and fourth-year pro has one goal, 27 penalty minutes, and a plus-four rating in 25 games with the club's AHL affiliate. Rouleau leads all RoadRunners' defensemen with eight goals and 27 points in 33 games. He is a former third round draft choice of the Pittsburgh Penguins at the 2001 NHL Entry Draft.

In a separate transaction, the RoadRunners have released defenseman Kyle Orr. Orr, 22, had one goal and 10 penalty minutes in 14 games.

Phoenix returns to US Airways Center at 7:11 p.m. Saturday as they welcome the Fresno Falcons in the 2006-07 regular season home finale. It will be "Fan Appreciation Night" and the first 2,000 fans will receive a 2006-07 Phoenix RoadRunners Team Poster.
