Frisco RoughRiders News Release
FRISCO, Texas - The Texas Rangers announced that second baseman Rougned Odor is scheduled to begin a Major League rehabilitation assignment with the Frisco RoughRiders on Saturday, May 5 at 7:05 p.m., as the club begins a four-game series against the Midland RockHounds at Dr Pepper Ballpark.
Odor went on the disabled list with a strained left hamstring suffered on April 10. The former RoughRiders infielder is expected to DH on Saturday.
For the series opener against Midland, the Riders turn into Los Jinetes de Frisco once again for the Cinco de Mayo Celebration. Fans will dance to the music of two local mariachi bands and enjoy $2 Mexican beers while the Riders will don custom "Los Jinetes" jerseys on the field. These special jerseys will be auctioned off during the game with all proceeds benefitting CASA of Collin County.
Single-game tickets, season tickets, group and hospitality packages for all home games during the RoughRiders' 15th Anniversary Season are available by calling (972) 731-9200, emailing info@ridersbaseball.com or visiting RidersBaseball.com.
