FRISCO, Texas - Danielle Schneider of Highland Village is the grand prize winner of the Frisco RoughRiders' 8 Millionth Fan Celebration Thursday night at Dr Pepper Ballpark. Schneider is officially the 8 Millionth Fan in franchise regular-season history and won season tickets for life, Raising Cane's for a year and a Choctaw Lazy River package valued at $8,888.
Schneider was one of eight lucky fans selected as finalists throughout the game who had the chance to be named the 8 Millionth Fan and take home a special Riders Party of 8 Prize Pack. In addition to the season tickets and Raising Cane's for a year, Schneider had the opportunity to win $80,000, $8,000, $800, $80 or the Choctaw Lazy River package.
The crowd of 6,702 for the RoughRiders' 13-6 loss to San Antonio pushed Frisco past the 8 million mark in all-time regular-season attendance, going back to the franchise's inaugural season in 2003. Every fan in attendance Thursday received a special 8 Millionth Fan Celebration Scratch Off Card for the 8 Million Prize Giveaway, and every fan went home a winner!
The 8 Million Prize Giveaway actually added up to more than 8 million "prizes" as follows:

The Riders' current homestand, which runs through Tuesday, continues Friday at 7:05 p.m. against San Antonio with Princess & Pirates Night, as fans get their chance to meet their favorite princesses and pirates, and kids get to take home a free wand or sword (first 1,000 aged 12 and under). The Riders turn into Los Jinetes de Frisco once again for the Cinco de Mayo Celebration on Saturday at 7:05 p.m. Fans will dance to the music of two local mariachi bands and enjoy $2 Mexican beers while the Riders will don custom "Los Jinetes" jerseys on the field. These special jerseys will be auctioned off during the game with all proceeds benefitting CASA of Collin County.
