THE OPPOSITION

Tulsa Roughnecks FC return home following a two-match road trip to the Rocky Mountains. The Roughnecks picked up four points in the two away matches and remain in the thick of the playoff race in the USL's Western Conference.

Thursday's match with Real Monarchs will be a rematch of Saturday's contest in Salt Lake City. That game ended in a 1-1 draw at Rio Tinto Stadium.

It will also be the second meeting of the season between Tulsa and Louisville. On April 25, City claimed a 2-0 victory at Louisville's Slugger Field.

Both matches will be broadcast live on Tulsa's Sports Radio AM 1300 with Jeremie Poplin, David Saunders and Andy Lorei calling the action. The broadcast can be heard online at 1300TheBuzz.com. It will also be shown live on the Roughnecks FC YouTube channel.

RECENT FORM

The Roughnecks enter the pair of matches on a three-game unbeaten run. Tulsa has lost only one time since the beginning of July, compiling a 5-1-2 mark and picking up 17 points during that stretch. For the season, the Roughnecks are 9-9-5 (32 points) and are in seventh place in the Western Conference, only one position from a playoff spot.

The Monarchs will enter Thursday's match with a 2-11-7 mark (13 points) and are in 12th spot in the West. They are 0-8-2 in away matches. Real's two victories have come against Austin and 2014 USL champions Sacramento.

Louisville City has been one of the top teams in the Eastern Conference this season and enter Wednesday's match in Harrisburg with an 11-4-5 record (38 points) and in second place in the East. City is one of only five teams, Tulsa is also one, that has compiled a winning record on the road this season, going 4-2-3 in away matches.
