Calgary, AB- Tracey Kelusky fired six goals, while Josh Sanderson scored once and set up seven others in a losing cause as the Calgary Roughnecks (5-4) were edged 12-11 by the Washington Stealth (7-3) in front of 10,402 fans at the Pengrowth Saddledome Saturday night.

Luke Wiles finished off a three-goal performance for the Stealth at 13:38 of the final frame. The goal stood up as the game-winner for Wiles, who also had an assist.

Rhys Duch scored twice and set up four others for the Stealth, who ended a three-game losing streak to remain atop the NLL's Western Division standings.

Josh Sanderson had a goal and eight assists for the Roughnecks, whose four-game winning streak came to an end. Dane Dobbie had two goals and two assists, Scott Ranger scored once and set up two others, while Kaleb Toth (1g, 1a) and Jeff Shattler (4a) also had multiple-point performances.

Jeff Zywicki had two goals and two assists for the Stealth, while Peter Morgan (2g), Lewis Ratcliff (1g, 3a), Cam Sedgwick (1g, 2a) and Eric Martin (1g) also contributed to the victory.

Washington goalie Matt Roik stopped 41 of 52 shots he faced to record the win, while his Calgary counterpart Matt King made 27 saves in a losing cause.

The Stealth jumped out to a 3-0 lead on a pair of goals by Zywicki and one from Duch. The Riggers hit the score sheet on their 11th shot of the contest when Kelusky's long-range shot found its way into the net behind Roik.

Late in the opening frame, Morgan picked up his own rebound and scored on a wraparound to give the Stealth a 4-1 advantage.

Kelusky drew the Riggers to within a goal early in the second stanza with back-to-back goals 25 seconds apart. On his hat trick goal, he intercepted a pass from Washington's Jason Bloom and deposited the ball into an empty net because Roik was out of position.

The Calgary captain then tied the game during a Calgary power play when he converted a pass from Sanderson before Toth fired a long-range shot past Roik to put the Riggers up 5-4.

Duch and Wiles then replied for Washington as the Stealth regained their one-goal lead heading into the half-time intermission and then built up the advantage to 9-5 on goals by Ratcliff, Morgan and Sedgwick early in the third quarter.

Dobbie finally ended the five-goal swing by scoring at 11:59 of the third quarter before Ranger bounced a shot past Roik to pull the Roughnecks within a pair heading into the final frame.

Dobbie then continued the momentum for the Riggers with a goal at the 6:43 mark of the fourth quarter before Kelusky scored 70 seconds later to tie the contest.

After setting up seven goals, Sanderson got in on the action by scoring at 9:08 of the fourth quarter. Wiles then scored for Washington to even up the score once again before Kelusky continued his fantastic performance by notching his sixth goal of the game to put Calgary up 11-10.

The see-saw battle then continued as Washington answered back with goals by Martin and Wiles to go up 12-11 before the Stealth held on for the victory to win the season series against the Riggers.

Next up, the Roughnecks travel to Florida for their one and only visit to face the Orlando Titans on Saturday, March 20 (game starts at 5:30 p.m. MST). They'll then return home to the 'Dome to face the Minnesota Swarm on Friday, March 26.
