
Rosters and itineraries for Chivas USA and Chivas de Guadalajara released ahead of ChivaClásico

Club Deportivo Chivas USA News Release
CARSON, Calif. (Monday, September 21, 2009) - Chivas de Guadalajara will arrive in Los Angeles today ahead of the ChivaClásico against Chivas USA, which will take place on Wednesday, Sept. 23, at 8:00 p.m. PT at the Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena, Calif. Chivas de Guadalajara's flight, Mexicana #920, lands at 3:55 p.m. PT, and media may only take photos of the team at their arrival.
Chivas USA will also begin its celebrations of ChivaClásico this morning with the third annual Fundación Chivas de Corazón USA Charity Golf Tournament at Babe Zaharias Course at Pacific Palms Resort in City of Industry. The event, which will feature the full Chivas USA first team, begins at 8:30 a.m.
On Tuesday, Sept. 22, Chivas USA will train at 9:30 a.m. on Field 6 at The Home Depot Center, followed by a mixed zone for press. Chivas de Guadalajara will then train at 11:00 a.m. on a field to be announced at The Home Depot Center, with a mixed zone at the end of the practice.
The Chivas de Guadalajara roster to travel to Los Angeles for the ChivaClásico is the following: Luis Michel, Patricio Araujo, Sergio Ãvila, Mario de Luna, Ramón Morales, Héctor Reynoso, Omar Arellano, Sergio Amaury Ponce, Alberto Medina, Jonny Magallón, Hugo Hernández, Edgar MejÃa, Gonzalo Pineda, Aarón Galindo, Javier Hernández, Omar Esparza, Marco Fabián, Edgar SolÃs, Omar Bravo y Xavier Báez. Chivas USA and Chivas de Guadalajara will square off in the ChivaClásico on Wednesday, Sept. 23 at 8:00 p.m. PT at the Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena, Calif. The match will be the first-ever meeting between the two clubs on United States soil, and advance ticket prices start at just $20 for General Admission, $30 for Reserved, and $40 for Preferred. Ticket prices go up by $5 on the day of the game, so purchasing tickets in advance is encouraged.
