Roster Changes Announced for 2003 Compuware/ECHL All-Star Game

PRINCETON, N.J. – The East Coast Hockey League on Tuesday announced the roster changes for the 2003 Compuware/ECHL All-Star Game to be played played at 7:30 p.m. ET on January 21.

Greensboro defenseman Geno Parrish, Atlantic City rookie forward Jim Henkel and Trenton rookie defenseman Dustin Wood were named as replacements on the Northern Conference.

Parrish, who replaces injured teammate Kurt Drummond, is tied for 14th in scoring among ECHL defensemen with 24 points and is second on the Generals with 21 assists.

Selected in the eighth round (217th overall) by Los Angeles in the 1998 NHL Entry Draft, Henkel replaces injured teammate Scott Matzka. The 23-year-old Henkel is second among ECHL rookies in plus-minus with +21, third in goals with, tied for third in game-winning goals with three, and sixth in scoring with 35 points.

In his first professional season, Wood replaces teammate David Schneider, who left for Europe after being named to the Northern Conference roster on December 18. The 21-year-old Wood is second on the Titans with 17 assists and has scored 18 points in 36 games with Trenton while also appearing in two games with Bridgeport of the American Hockey League.
