The Somerset Patriots defeated the Hartford Yard Goats by a score of 2-1 in walk-off fashion on Thursday night at TD Bank Ballpark in the third of a six-game series.

Somerset's last two wins have come in walk-off fashion.

RHP Richard Fitts (6 IP, 0 R, 5 H, 4 K) took a no decision in his MiLB leading 14th quality start of the season.

After Thursday's start, Fitts leads the Eastern League in IP (131.0), while placing second in K (139), third in ERA (3.16), and fourth in WHIP (1.10).

In the month of August, Fitts is 2-0 with a 0.37 ERA in 24.1 IP, allowing only 1 ER with 21 K.

Over his last 16 starts dating back to 5/24, Fitts has posted a 2.12 ERA over 97.2 IP with 103 K and a 0.98 WHIP.

LF Elijah Dunham (2-for-3, HR, BB) tied the ballgame at one with a solo blast in the 9th inning. The home run represented Dunham's 15th overall this season and ninth with Somerset.

Dunham has now reached base in six of his last seven games with 2 HR and 5 RBI over that span.

Thursday marked Dunham's 13th multi-hit game over 38 games with Somerset this season.

CF Jeisson Rosario (1-for-4, RBI) brought home the game winning run with a walk-off single in the 9th.
