Richmond Roosters News Release
Richmond, In. - After last night's victory of the Richmond Roosters over the Western Division second place, Rockford Riverhawks, your Richmond Roosters are now officially out of last place in the division. The Roosters are out of the basement.
If you haven't already made arrangements to be at the ballpark tonight for the Water Bottle Giveaway sponsored by Wayne Bank and Trust and the Golay Community Center and the Fireworks celebration that will immediately follow the game, here is your chance. In honor of this, the Richmond Roosters are turning to the fans and asking them to grab that canned food from their basement and bring it to the game tonight. For bringing in their canned food item, fans will be admitted to the game for half price.
All food donations collected at tonight's game will be given to local food banks.
Avoid lines at the Roosters box office and reserve your tickets today by calling 935-PLAY. Gametime is 6:35pm and the gates open at 5:35pm. Don't miss tonight's action at McBride Stadium. Watch out, the Roosters are coming back.
