Kalamazoo defeated Washington 7-3 on Friday, snapping the Wild Things' 11-game winning streak. David McWatters allowed three runs over seven innings to earn the win. Jason Startari was 3-for-4 with an RBI. Darryl Blaze and Carlos Sepulveda each had two hits, and Sepulveda drove in two runs. Pete Pirman hit a solo home run. Kalamazoo and Washington play again Saturday night at 6:35 p.m. at Homer Stryker Field.
