Rookie Zaborsky Called Up to Hartford

Dayton, OH - Rookie forward Tomas Zaborsky has been recalled by the NHL's New York Rangers to their "AAA" affiliate, the Hartford Wolf Pack, Bombers head coach Bill McDonald announced today.

Zaborsky, a fifth round (#137 overall) selection of the Rangers in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft, made his professional debut with Hartford last season, appearing in two games and recording one assist.

This season the Slovakia native began the year with the Rangers' ECHL affiliate, the Charlotte Checkers, where he picked up 12 points (4g,8a) in 28 games. Since being assigned to the Bombers on January 2, Zaborsky has tallied 10 goals, including 4 game-winners, and six assists.

The Bombers are in action on Friday, February 13 at 7:30 p.m. at the Nutter Center when the Wheeling Nailers come to town.
