Rookie Defenseman Recalled By Kings

MANCHESTER, NH - The Los Angeles Kings, the parent club of the Manchester Monarchs, have recalled defenseman Peter Harrold (under emergency conditions) from the Monarchs, Kings President/General Manager Dean Lombardi announced today.

Harrold, 23, has played in 48 games with the Monarchs this season and is second among club defensemen with 25 points (5-20=25). He also has three power play goals, 33 penalty minutes and a plus-12 rating. The 5-foot-11, 190-pound native of Kirtland Hills, Ohio, has appeared in 10 games with the Kings this season and has two points (0-2=2) and eight penalty minutes. Signed by the Kings as an unrestricted free agent on April 12, 2006, Harrold made his Kings/NHL debut at San Jose on November 22 and recorded his first NHL point (an assist) during the game. He wears jersey No. 49.
