Griff's IceHouse to Host Sled Hockey Tournament

WHAT: The inaugural Jennifer Kryger Memorial Sled Hockey Tournament, honoring a member of the Grand Rapids Sled Wings who passed away in December.

WHERE: Griff's IceHouse at Belknap Park

30 Coldbrook NE, Grand Rapids

WHEN: Saturday, March 10 from 3-9 p.m.

Sunday, March 11 from 8-11:30 a.m.

WHO: This 18-and-under tournament is hosted by the Grand Rapids Sled Wings, who are co-sponsored by Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital and the Grand Rapids Griffins Youth Foundation. The four-team field includes the Chicago Hornets, the Cleveland Mighty Barons, and the Columbus Blades, with approximately 60 sled hockey players participating.

The Sled Wings' games are scheduled for 3 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. on Saturday and 8 p.m. on Sunday. The tournament's consolation game will take place at 9:10 a.m. Sunday, followed by the championship game at 10:20 a.m.
