Moose Assign Coulombe to Victoria

The Manitoba Moose, the AHL affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks, announced they have assigned defenceman Patrick Coulombe to the Victoria Salmon Kings.

Coulombe, 21, has appeared in 41 games in his rookie season with the Moose. In that time, the St. Fabien, PQ native has scored three goals and six assists for nine points and 16 penalty minutes. Coulombe also saw action in seven games with the Vancouver Canucks this season after being recalled on Nov. 8/06. In that time, he collected one assist and four penalty minutes. In 297 career games in five seasons in the QMJHL with Rimouski and Chicoutimi, the St. Fabien, PQ native scored 44 goals and 185 assists for 229 points and 196 penalty minutes. In 38 playoff games, he scored four goals and 35 assists for 39 points and 14 penalty minutes.
