Rome, GA - The Rome Braves have activated infielder Brandon Monk and sent infielder Robert Marcial to Myrtle Beach of the Carolina League the team announced today. In limited play Marcial hit .173 with four RBI. Monk rejoins the club and was hitting .232 with a home run and 12 RBI.
Game rescheduled: The April 20th game against the Augusta GreenJackets that was postponed due to rain has been rescheduled for Wednesday June 7th as part of a doubleheader beginning at 1pm.
The Braves continue their eight game home stand tonight against Columbus and conclude the series tomorrow. Both games begin at 7pm. For ticket information call the Rome Braves ticket office at 706-378-5144.
