Romario Williams Named to Team of the Week for Week 26

Colorado Springs, CO - The Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC and the USL Championship officially announced today that Romario Williams have been named to the Team of the Week for Week 26 of the 2023 season, presented by Konami eFootball.
The Switchbacks battled it out with Louisville City FC on Saturday, September 2nd, and Williams scored two goals for the team. For Williams first goal of the night, Juan Tejada passed the ball swiftly to Williams who quickly weaved the ball in between defensemen and shot right into the back of the net, creating a tie between both teams.
Williams scored his second goal when the Switchbacks were awarded a penalty kick. There were only a few minutes left in the match, so Williams quickly sent the ball into the left side of the net while the goalie dove for the right side. Williams marked a milestone by passing 50 regular season goals in the Championship for his career.
