Rohrbough Heads to the Beach

Rome, GA - The Rome Braves announced today that pitcher Cole Rohrbough has been promoted to Myrtle Beach of the Carolina League. This season Rohrbough posted a 3-4 record with a 4.94 ERA and 76 strikeouts in 58.1 innings for the Rome Braves.

Rome also activated catcher Chris Anderson. Anderson was placed on the DL after a home plate collision on July 29. Catcher Matt Kramer has been sent to the Gulf Coast League to make room for Anderson.

Rome continues an 8 game road trip tonight in Charleston, SC. The Braves return to action at State Mutual Stadium on August 11 against the Hagerstown Suns. Upcoming promotions include:
