WILMINGTON, DE - After scoring three in the top of the 8th to take a 4-2 lead, Bryce Montes de Oca allowed five runs in the bottom of the frame as the Wilmington Blue Rocks (Washington Nationals) rallied to defeat the Cyclones, 7-4 on Friday night at Frawley Stadium.

Having lost the lead in the top of the frame, Wilmington scored five runs against the Cyclones in the bottom of the eighth to take a 7-4 lead. Jeremy Ydens' RBI single tied the game, while Armond Upshaw's two-run double to left field highlighted the frame against Bryce Montes de Oca.
Down 2-1 into the top of the eighth, the Cyclones stormed back to take a 4-2 lead, scoring on RBI singles from Jaylen Palmer, Francisco Alvarez, and Luis Gonzalez.
The Cyclones got on the board in the top of the fourth inning. With a runner at second base, Francisco Alvarez was robbed of a home run in dead-center field by Armond Upshaw, who made the catch bringing the ball back over the wall. Jaylen Palmer scored from second on the sacrifice fly to tie the game at 1-1.

Jaylen Palmer tallied a three-hit night, his first with the Cyclones, and has five hits over his past two games.
Francisco Alvarez drove in two runs on Friday, taking his total to 57 RBIs to lead Mets minor leaguers.
Due to impending weather and a 40-minute delay to the start of the game, Brooklyn reliever Colby Morris worked two innings as the "opener" ahead of scheduled starter Alec Kisena.
