Wilmington Blue Rocks News Release
Wilmington, DE - Heavy rain has forced the cancellation of the Wilmington Blue Rocks' scheduled contest with the Lynchburg Hillcats on Sunday afternoon. Due to the fact that it is the last scheduled meeting between the two teams in 2011, the game will not be made up.
All tickets for Sunday's contest can be redeemed for up to one calendar year at any Blue Rocks home game. For more information call 302-888-BLUE.
The Rocks return to action on Monday when they open a brief three-game road trip in Frederick at 7 p.m. Tim Melville (8-8, 4.56) is slated to take the hill for the Blue Rocks against Frederick southpaw Nathan Moreau (10-9, 4.37).
