Rockland Boulders Top 150,000 in Season Attendance

(Ramapo, NY) - In just their second season in existence, the Rockland Boulders have continued to make their mark on the Can-Am League. With their crowd of 3,459 for Sunday's game against the New Jersey Jackals, the Boulders raised their season total to 150,186 with three home dates remaining. Earlier this season the franchise passed the 250,000 mark in all-time attendance, and this season's total currently ranks as the seventh highest single-season mark in Can-Am League history.
Rockland has already significantly topped its record of 123,704 from the 2011 inaugural season, and in spite of a recent losing streak drew over 12,500 to this past weekend's three-game series against New Jersey. Next on the Can-Am's record list stands Quebec, with 156,663 in the 2005 season, then Brockton, who drew 157,462 in 2006. The all-time record was set by Brockton with 190,675 in 2005.
The Boulders return to Provident Bank Park for their final series of the season this Saturday, Sunday and Monday, September 1-3, when they take on the American Association's Lincoln SaltDogs. A great weekend of Fan Appreciation promotions is in store, featuring the Fireworks Extravaganza Season Finale and the "Blue Out" on Saturday, Entenmann's Cap Day and "Blue Out" on Sunday, and 25 Cent Hot Dogs a free Team Photo and Park in the Park for pet owners to bring their little friends to the ballpark on Monday.
