Rockland 7, Worcester 6 (Game 1 - 7 Innings)
Rockland LF Keith Brachold had a terrific game at the plate in helping the Boulders snap their 13-game losing streak and beat Worcester, 7-6 in game one of a doubleheader. Brachold went 2-for-4 with two home runs, his 28th and 29th of the season, and four RBI. Second baseman Chris Valencia, RF Qualon Millender and C Landis Wilson each had two hits as well for the Boulders. Rockland reliever Eric Federico picked up the win after going four innings and allowing three earned runs on four hits. For Worcester in defeat, RF Cameron Monger went 3-for-3 with a run scored and three RBI.
Worcester 1, Rockland 0 (Game 2 - 7 Innings)
A terrific pitching performance by Worcester starting pitcher Kyle Regnault leads the Tornadoes to a 1-0 win over the Rockland Boulders in game two of a doubleheader. Regnault went six innings allowing only a walk and two hits with four strikeouts. The victory by Regnault was his first of the season. Offensively for Worcester, 2B Tony Patane went 2-for-2 while CF Jerod Edmondson had a 1-for-3 game and scored the only run of the game in the first inning.
