
Rockland Boulders Announce 2011 Schedule

RAMAPO, New York (January 12, 2011) - Snow is on the ground, but baseball is in the air as the Rockland Boulders announced their 2011 inaugural season schedule.
The Boulders will host the 2-time defending Can-Am League Champions, Quebec City Capitales on Friday, June 10th to begin a new era of professional baseball in the Lower Hudson Valley and northern New Jersey region. First pitch is at 7:30pm.
The Boulders first ever game will be on the road on May 26th at the Newark Bears. The team will then play their first 11 games on the road to allow their new ballpark to be completed before coming home to face Quebec City. The Boulders have 53 home dates with their longest home stand of 11 games scheduled for June 17-27th. Saturdays and Sundays will be the busiest home days of the summer for the Boulders with 10 games on each of those days. The 94-game regular season concludes on Labor Day (September 5th) at home against Newark. Home game starting times will be announced at a future date.

"However nothing tops the first season in a new ballpark and we pledge to make every game a memorable experience for our fans."
