Rockford Announces 2007 Training Camp Schedule

Rockford, Ill.- Rockford IceHogs General Manager of Hockey Operations Al MacIsaac announced the American Hockey League's 2007 Training Camp schedule on Tuesday. Rockford's ninth training camp, and first in the American Hockey League as direct affiliates of the Chicago Blackhawks, will commence on Sunday, Sept. 23.
The first training camp practice is slated for 10 a.m. at Riverview Icehouse on Sunday. The team practice is expected to last an hour. Rockford's training camp will include a pair of exhibition games against the Peoria Rivermen, including an exhibition game hosted by the IceHogs on Saturday, Sept. 29 at Carlson Arctic Ice Arena in Loves Park at 7:05 p.m.
Rockford's first AHL training camp will officially conclude on Friday, Oct. 5, the day before the IceHogs open the regular season portion of the '07-08 schedule at the I-Wireless Center in Moline, Ill. against the Quad City Flames.
