
Rockets Win Game 7 Over Everett

The Kelowna Rockets defeated the Everett Silvertips 2-1 Monday night in Everett, winning its best of seven Western Hockey League playoff series four games to three.
The Rockets move on to play the Tri City Americans in the second round of the playoffs, beginning Friday night in Tri-City.
Games three and four will be in Kelowna next Tuesday and Wednesday, April 6 and 7. Tickets go on sale at www.selectyourtickets.com on Tuesday morning at 9:30 a.m.
On Monday night in Everett Mark Guggenberger turned aside 40 of 41 shots to lead the Rockets to victory, the first win by a visiting team in the seven game series.
Lucas Bloodoff snapped a 1-1 tie in the second period for the winning goal after Geordie Wudrick had opened the scoring.
In Tri-City, the Rockets will get a team that finished first in the WHL West this season with 97 points, the same point total the Silvertips finished with.
The series begins this weekend with games on Friday and Saturday night in Tri-City.
