
Rockets Win 6th Straight Versus Blazers

Jamie Benn scored three times to lead the Kelowna Rockets to a 6-1 win over the Blazers on Tuesday night at ISC. After a scoreless first period, Kenton Dulle put the Blazers up 1-0 early in the second before the Rockets rebounded with a pair from Benn - one on the powerplay - 5 minutes apart for a 2-1 lead after two. The Rockets then added four in the third to put the game away. Final shots were 34-16 Rockets with Mark Guggenberger picking up the win while Justin Leclerc is saddled with the loss. The Blazers were 0-for-6 on the powerplay while the Rockets were 2-for-4.
