The Saskatoon Blades have jumped up one position to 9th in the weekly CHL Top Ten Rankings. The Blades hold a record of 38-12-3-1, good for 80 points and first place in the East Division.
The Blades face another tough week as they face the Edmonton Oil Kings tonight in Edmonton, and then return for home games on Friday against Red Deer and Sunday versus the Swift Current Broncos. The Blades have won their past 7 road games, a feat which has given the Blades an all time franchise record for road wins with a total of 22. In 26 road games, the Blades have only allowed 60 goals and have scored 110 times.
