Rockets Host Cougars Tuesday

November 2, 2010 - Western Hockey League (WHL)
Kelowna Rockets News Release

The Kelowna Rockets return to Prospera Place on Tuesday night, kicking off a busy week that will see the team play four Western Hockey League games in five days.

The Rockets host the Prince George Cougars on Tuesday night at Prospera Place in Kelowna in the second meeting of the season between the two WHL BC Division rivals.

Kelowna has called up 16-year-old prospect Colton Heffley from the Swift Current Legionnaires of the Saskatchewan Midget AAA League to join the team.

In seven games this season with his midget club, Heffley had two goals and one assist. Heffley played in all six Kelowna Rockets exhibition games this season collecting one assist.

The Rockets will be looking to avenge a season opening loss to the Cougars, who defeated the Rockets 6-2 on Sept. 25.

Kelowna will play in Kamloops on Wednesday and in Vancouver on Friday before another home game on Saturday against the Chilliwack Bruins.
