
Hitmen Fall to Medicine Hat

Calgary, AB - Emerson Etem broke a 1-1 tie with a powerplay goal midway through the third period lifting the Medicine Hat Tigers to a 2-1 win over the Calgary Hitmen Tuesday night at Scotiabank Saddledome.
Etem's goal came just 90 seconds after Ben Wilson had tied the game for Calgary on a Hitmen powerplay.
The two teams played a scoreless first period before Linden Vey opened the scoring for Medicine Hat on a second period powerplay.
Calgary outshot the Tigers 29-23, but goaltender Tyler Bunz of Medicine Hat made 28 saves in a third star performance.
Calgary, who has now lost seven in a row, drops to 4-11 while the win improves the Tigers record to 8-5.
The Hitmen wrap up a six game home stand Friday night against the Kamloops Blazers.
