Kelowna Rockets News Release
The Kelowna Rockets announced this afternoon that they have acquired 20 year old TYLER HALLIDAY from the Prince George Cougars via WHL waiver.
Halliday, a 6'1" right winger, has spent the last 2 seasons with the Cougars, after spending parts of two seasons with the Red Deer Rebels. Originally from Kamloops, Halliday is expected to join the Rockets tomorrow night against his former team as the Rockets are in Prince George for a weekend double header
"We felt that being a 20-year-old, Tyler would bring some experience and character to our dressing room", stated Rockets President and General Manager Bruce Hamilton.
In 66 games last season, Halliday had 25 points and 161 minutes in penalties.
