
Rock Cats send infielder to AAA Rochester

New Britain Rock Cats News Release
New Britain, CT - The New Britain Rock Cats announced today that a veteran member of their roster - 25-year-old Infielder Felix Molina - was promoted to the AAA Rochester Red Wings over the Memorial Day weekend. It was the 8-year Minor League veteran's first advancement to the Triple-A classification.
The 5'8"/180-pound left-handed hitter from Mayaguez, PR was in his fourth season in New Britain. An Eastern League All-Star in 2006, Molina appeared in 32 games for the 2008 Rock Cats. He departed for Rochester with a .227 BA; 8 of his 25 total hits in New Britain were Doubles and he collected 12 RBI while a member of the 2008 Rock Cats.
A 21st Round selection of the Minnesota Twins in the 2001 Draft, the versatile Molina entered the 2008 Season with a career MiLB Batting Average of .267.
