BACK ON TRACK: The Red Wings snapped their 3-game losing streak and their 5-game skid at Frontier Field with a 5-2 win.

HOME SWEET HOME: The Red Wings won their 37th game at Frontier Field, their most in one season since going 46-26 in 2008.

MEAN GENE GLYNN: Gene Glynn improved to 250-250 in his 500 career games as a manager.

WHAT A RELIEF: Reliever Esmerling Vasquez threw a career-high 7.2 innings for the 2nd time...he also threw 7.2 innings in a July 19, 2006 start with Single-A Lancaster vs. High Desert.

ESMERLING SILVER: Esmerling Vasquez threw 7.2 innings for the longest relief appearance by a Red Wing reliever this season.

VASQUEZ DISPENSER: Esmerling Vasquez has thrown 11.2 scoreless innings in his last 2 appearances.

HE'S BACK!!!: Pedro Florimon collected 2 RBI in his first game since July 31...he missed the previous 7 games with a left wrist injury.

TURPEN TIME: Daniel Turpen became the 11th different Red Wing to record a save.

ATTA WAY, RENE: Six of Rene Rivera's last 10 hits have gone for extra bases (3 doubles, one triple and 2 home runs).
