Hens Split Series After 5-3 Win over Louisville

The Hens earned a split with the Bats on Thursday night after winning their second in a row with a 4-3 victory in Louisville.

John Lindsey and Jerad Head each teed off for a solo homer to give the Mud Hens an early 2-0 lead. Lindsey added another RBI in the fifth after his double scored Danny Worth to give the Hens a 3-1 lead.

Worth had the other RBI for the Hens after his sacrifice fly allowed Jamie Johnson to score in the seventh.

Casey Crosby allowed three runs, but only one earned, over 6.2 innings to earn the victory for Toledo.

The Hens return home for a four game home stand with Durham starting tomorrow at 7:05 p.m.

Game Notes

Four Hens had 2-4 (.500) nights in the effort.

Seven of John Lindsey's last 16 hits have been homeruns.

Bruce Rondon recorded his first save with a perfect ninth for the Hens.
