OFF THE WALTERS: P.J. Walters tossed 5.0 scoreless innings in his 2nd rehab start, allowing 5 hits, striking out 2 and walking none...he threw 73 pitches, 47 for strikes.

HAPPY CLETE: Clete Thomas hit his team-leading 8th home run, a solo shot in the 7th that made it 2-0.

LA VALENCIA : Danny Valencia had an RBI single in the 6th and a solo homer in the 8th...he has 9 RBI in his last 9 games.

DANCEFLORIMON'S HOPPIN'!: Pedro Florimon went 2-for-4 with 2 doubles...he has hit safely in 5 of his last 6 games, batting .333 (8-for-24) with 4 doubles.

LUCKY SEVEN: Wilkin Ramirez has hit safely in 7 straight games, batting .320 (8-for-25).
