CHASE THIS FEELING: Rochester picked up their first win since 7/15 (vs. Omaha), snapping their franchise-record losing streak at 19 games...during their skid, starting on 7/16, the Wings were outscored 133-79 (-54), with three of the losses coming via shutout.

During their 19-game losing streak, the Wings scored five or more runs in a game nine times, and averaged 3.9 runs per game.

11 of their 19 losses saw either the tying or winning run come to bat in the ninth inning.

MY NAME'S NOT RICK: RHP Patrick Murphy got the start for Rochester in yesterday's contest, his first starting nod since 8/24/2019 with Double-A New Hampshire (TOR)...Murphy pitched a season-high 3.0 innings while allowing an earned run on one hit, a first-inning homer by Norfolk's Jordan Westburg, striking out three batters in the process...this was the righty's first appearance since 7/15 that he has allowed one or fewer runners to reach base safely.

LET THE GOOD TIMES NOLL: DH Jake Noll went 2-for-4 with a home run, three RBI, and a run scored, collecting his 50th RBI and 10th home run of the season in yesterday's game...the righty ranks second on the Wings this season in RBI behind the recently promoted slugger Joey Meneses...since 7/1, Noll leads the squad in games played (29), hits (30), total bases (45) and ranks second in doubles (4) and RBI (14).

WAXING THE COR-VERRETT: In his first appearance since 7/28 (against Scranton/WB), RHP Logan Verrett came on in relief of starter RHP Patrick Murphy...in 5.0 innings, the righty allowed three runs, one earned, on four hits while striking out four...in his last four outings dating back to 7/10, the Texas-native has an ERA of 1.29 (3 ER/21 IP) and a K/BB ratio of 15/1.
