Idaho Steelheads News Release

Boise, ID (10/22/13) - Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Brad Ralph announced Tuesday that goaltender Josh Robinson has been reassigned to the Idaho Steelheads by the Texas Stars of the American Hockey League.

Idaho (ECHL) and Texas (AHL) are the primary development affiliates of the NHL's Dallas Stars.

Robinson, 23, was Idaho's team MVP last season, winning 27 games in net and ranking among the ECHL leaders in save percentage, shutouts, goals-against average and victories as a rookie out of Michigan Tech. He made his AHL debut Saturday night for the Texas Stars and posted a shutout victory over the San Antonio Rampage. The AHL is the highest level of minor-league hockey in North America.

Idaho plays its home opener on Wednesday against the San Francisco Bulls at CenturyLink Arena. Game time is 7 PM.

Group outings at a Steelheads game are a great way to gather friends, colleagues, or co-workers for a fun night out in downtown Boise. Ticket prices are discounted and you can get a Pepsi, Double-R Ranch Hot Dog, and bag of Tim's Cascade Chips with each ticket. Contact the Steelheads front office at 208.383.0080 or log on to www.idahosteelheads.com for more information.
