Peterborough Petes' Sam McCue and Oshawa Generals' Calum Ritchie on Indigenous Heritage Night

(Peterborough, ON) - On Thursday, February 9, the Peterborough Petes hosted the Oshawa Generals for a rematch of last Saturday's defeat at Pink in the Rink. The Petes would defeat the Generals by a score of 8-3.
It was Indigenous Heritage Night at the PMC, which saw a special pre-game ceremony with the Chiefs of Alderville, Curve Lake, & Hiawatha who were on hand to drop the puck.
Tucker Robertson led the way for the Petes with a hat trick and an assist, putting him in fourth in league scoring with 70 points. Owen Beck had a goal and two assists, while J.R. Avon and Gavin White each had a goal and an assist. Chase Stillman and Connor Lockhart both scored, and Brennan Othmann and Jax Dubois had two assists each. Avery Hayes and Jonathan Melee also picked up an assist on the night. Liam Sztuska stopped 16/19 for his seventh win of the season.
