Robertson Returns To Rock Cats From Triple-A Rochester

New Britain, CT - The New Britain Rock Cats of the Eastern League announced today that 22-year-old LHP Tyler Robertson has been returned to them from Rochester in the Triple-A International League.

The 6'5"/245-pound southpaw from Simi Valley, CA was promoted to Rochester last Monday and subsequently made his Triple-A debut on Wednesday evening against visiting Syracuse. In his initial Triple-A outing, Robertson allowed 3 Runs and fanned 6 over five full innings of work. He was charged with the Loss in the game that ended in a 4-3 Syracuse victory.

A 3rd Round selection by Minnesota in the 2006 Draft, Tyler made 7 starting appearances (0-3 / 3.86 ERA) for the 2010 Rock Cats before his advancement to Rochester. He will be in uniform tonight at New Britain Stadium when the 'Cats host Binghamton at 6:35 PM.
