RoadRunners Name Brad Chavis Athletic Trainer

PHOENIX, Ariz. - The Phoenix RoadRunners of the ECHL, a proud affiliate of the Phoenix Coyotes and San Antonio Rampage, have named Brad Chavis as the team's new athletic trainer.

Chavis spent the past two seasons with the Pensacola Ice Pilots of the ECHL where he served first as an assistant trainer and then as the Ice Pilots head athletic trainer in 2005-06. The Pensacola, Fla. native began his career in professional hockey as the head athletic trainer for the 2003-04 Muskegon Fury squad that captured the United Hockey League's Colonial Cup. Chavis is a graduate of the University of West Florida in Pensacola.

Chavis joins Head Coach Ron Filion, Assistant Coach Brad Church, and Head Equipment Manager Jeff "Smoke" Adams in the RoadRunners hockey operations department.

Individual game tickets for the 2006-07 regular season are currently on sale and can be purchased at the US Airways Center Box Office and at all Ticketmaster outlets including Ticketmaster.com.

Opening Night 2006 at US Airways Center is this Friday as the RoadRunners welcome the Utah Grizzlies at 7:11PM for the first game of an opening weekend three-game series. Information on season tickets, half-season packages, and flex plans are available by calling (602) 462-GOAL.
