
Roadrunners Add Marshall to Roster

EDINBURG, Texas---The Edinburg Roadrunners of the North American League announced today that they have signed catcher Derek Marshall and have released infielder Jason Thomas.
Marshall, the Malone, New York native, played in 34 games for the McAllen Thunder and batted .223 with two home runs and 12 RBI and two doubles.
Thomas batted .250 in just 21 games for the Roadrunners. He hit one home run and had five RBI with one double and one triple.
The Roadrunners open a four-game series with the Rio Grande Valley WhiteWings tonight at Edinburg Baseball Stadium. Blake Parry (1-3) is expected to face Alexander Concepcion (4-3) with the first pitch scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
