Greenville Swamp Rabbits News Release

Greenville, SC : Today the Road Warriors announced their captains for the 2012-2013 season.

T.J. Reynolds returns for the third year as captain of the Greenville Road Warriors. Brandon Wong and Sean Berkstresser were named Alternate Captains.

Reynolds, finished first on the team last season in penalty minutes and seventh in the league with 189. He played in his 500th professional game against Reading on December 22nd, 2011. He has worn the Road Warriors uniform for 142 games which is the most in franchise history.

"T.J. has character that I want in all of my players. He has valuable knowledge of the game which helps guide the rookies in the right direction," said Head Coach Dean Stork. "His added toughness on the ice gives our team confidence."

Wong led the Road Warriors last season in goals with 31. This will be Wong's third season with the team. Berkstresser was the only player who dressed for every game last season. The 2012-2013 season marks Berkstresser's third with the team and he is the only player who also played with the Johnstown Chiefs

"Brandon displays a maturity level I want to structure the team around. His skill set and hockey sense is an element that is hard to teach. When his teammates watch him play they gravitate to him." Stork added. "Sean is one of the hardest working players on and off the ice. He concerns his game around the little things and that is how he gains respect from his teammates."
