
Roa Named Southern League Pitcher of the Week

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. - Minor League Baseball has announced that Chattanooga Lookouts pitcher Christian Roa has been named Southern League Pitcher of the Week for the week of September 5.
In his only start last week, Roa dominated the Pensacola Blue Wahoos. In six innings the right-hander only allowed one hit while striking out eight batters. That start was tied for his longest start of the season and was the fourth time he has struck out eight or more batters in a game.
Since joining the Lookouts, Roa has 14 strikeouts in 11 innings and has a 0.82 ERA. Across two levels Roa has pitched in 74.0 innings and has a 3.71 ERA. This year Roa has already set career highs in innings pitched (85.0), wins (5), and strikeouts (97).
Tomorrow, the Lookouts are back in town for their last six games of the season. Tickets for the final games can be purchased on Lookouts.com.
