Fishkill, NY - Tuesday night at Ripken Stadium was eventful to say the least. Fans saw big league pitching, stellar defense, homers and epic moments. Aberdeen ended up losing the game 7-6, and was 10 feet away from a walk off victory. Noah Syndegaard started for Brooklyn, and there were some career moments for the 'Birds.

BIG MOMENTS

2nd and 5th: Two huge moments for Luke Ringhofer, back to back singles off of MLB stud Noah Syndergaard.

Bottom of the 5th: Johnny. Rizer. Hit an absolute blast over the right field wall. His first professional homer, off of Syndergaard and it bounced onto I-95.

Bottom of the 9th: Aberden was down three, loaded the bases and walked home one run. Clay Fisher's sac-fly RBI made it a one run game with the game tying run on 3rd.

Jaylen Ferguson extended his streak to have hits in 6 of his 8 games this season.

Syndergaard gave up five hits, three earned runs and struckout nine

Three IronBirds made their pro debuts. Morgan McSweeney and Kyle Martin on the mound and Maverick Handley as the DH.

Through ten games, Aberdeen is 5-5. The season series with Hudson Valley is in 3-2 in favor of the 'Gades
