Riversharks to Host Flyers Alumni Association Softball Game June 21st

The Camden Riversharks, in conjunction with the Flyers Alumni Association, will host the inaugural Flyers Alumni Association charitable softball game at Campbell's Field next Saturday, June 21st. The Flyers Alumni Association team, compromised of former Flyers from various eras, will challenge members of the Philadelphia Media in the contest.

The softball game will occur before the scheduled Riversharks game versus the Lancaster Barnstormers that evening and last approximately six innings, with the softball game beginning at 2:30pm and gates opening at 2:00.

Complete rosters have yet to be revealed, but current Flyers President Paul Holmgren, former players Todd Fedoruk, Bernie Parent, and Neil Little, and Flyers analyst Al Morganti are all scheduled to appear. The entire roster of both teams will be revealed shortly on www.Riversharks.com.

Tickets will provide you access for the softball game, as well as the Riversharks game directly after it.

During the Riversharks game, and after the softball game, a VIP Meet and Greet will be held, and includes a two-hour all-you-can-eat barbeque buffet, as well as the opportunity to meet players from the softball game. Tickets for this event cost $50 each and includes your ticket to the softball game, the Riversharks game, the buffet, and the VIP Meet and Greet. Portions of each VIP Meet and Greet ticket will be donated back to a Flyers Alumni Association charity.

For this event a special black and orange Flyers Alumni inspired jersey will be made for participants to compete in, and select jerseys will be signed and entered into a silent auction throughout the game for fans to place bids.

About the Camden Riversharks: The Camden Riversharks are entering their 14th season in the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball. Since the team's inception in 2001, the Riversharks have called Campbell's Field home, located on the Camden Waterfront.
