CAMDEN - The Camden Riversharks, in conjunction with Limopatrick, hosted the wedding of Jennifer Tomasulo and James DeFrancisco, Jr. at Campbell's Field tonight. The couple was married on the field before a crowd of 5,118 fans, prior to the Riversharks' game against the Long Island Ducks.

Traditional wedding ceremonies, including the bouquet and garter tosses took place during the game, and were done from the top of the home team dugout. In the middle of the fifth inning, the bouquet was caught by Maria Kim Paran, a co-worker of the bride.

"Seeing Jen and Jim get married here at the game was so much fun," said Paran. "It's also nice that I caught the bouquet. I guess that means I'm next," she added.

The bride and groom also thoroughly enjoyed the evening, and the baseball atmosphere of their wedding. "Everything was great, and we had so much fun," said Jennifer Tomasulo. "Jim was the one that really wanted to get married at a Riversharks game, but I was hesitant at first. But now, I couldn't be happier with the decision we made. It was such a great night."

Fans at the game also seemed to enjoy the wedding, and the change of pace that it brought to the game. "It was a very nice event, and a great night," said Barbara Gilmore, a longtime Riversharks fan. "I think it was a really unique thing to see, and more people should take advantage of it; even if only to renew their vows."
