
Rivermen Team With zAthlete for Rivermen Fan Blogger Contest

Peoria Rivermen News Release
The Peoria Rivermen have teamed with zAthlete, the premier online sports community for athletes, parents, teams, and fans to present one lucky fan with a chance to be the official Rivermen zAthlete Team Blogger for the 2008-09 Season!
The contest will run September 25, 2008 through October 13th, 2008. Submit your written blog (100 words or less), audio, video/photos or a combination of the three and answer the following question: "I should be chosen for the Rivermen/zAthlete Fan Blogger of the Season because?" All submissions will be private. Winner will be notified and announced on this site on October 15th.
Winners will receive a pair of lower bowl season tickets to the Rivermen this season, and access to player interviews, practice sessions, media and game notes, and more!
Submissions will be judged by the following criteria: Knowledge of Peoria Rivermen hockey -30%; Creativity - 20%; Originality 20%; Humor - 15%; Uniqueness 15%. Because the Promotion is a contest of skill, winning is dependent on the quality of submissions received.
