Rivermen Offer Military Discount For Veterans Day

PEORIA, Ill. (October 30, 2009) - The Peoria Rivermen have announced that all veterans and current members of the United States Military will be able to purchase lower bowl tickets for only $5 dollars on Wednesday, Nov. 11.
It is part of the Veterans Day celebration at Carver Arena when the Rivermen take on the Texas Stars at 7 p.m. The game will also feature a Color guard during the national anthem and a moment of silence in respect for those who gave their lives for their country.
Tickets can be purchased at the Peoria Civic Center box office.
The Rivermen are on the road tonight as they battle the Lake Erie Monsters in Cleveland, Ohio at 6:30 p.m. The game will be broadcast live on Hippie Radio 101.1 as well as streamed online through www.rivermen.net.
